Hayward Neighborhood Alert or HNA was established in 1978! HNA is a non-profit organization that works with the Hayward Police Department to establish neighborhood watch groups to coordinate crime prevention and safety in Hayward's neighborhoods. Good people such as yourselves are in demand. There is a lot of work to be done to rebuild better neighborhoods in respect to crime prevention. HNA works side by side with the police and many community partners to enhance the quality of life for Hayward's residents. HNA encourages you to get involved. We believe your interest and passion for creating safe cohesive neighborhoods is what we need to grow strong partnerships and understanding between the police department and the community to reduce crime and improve safety for all community members!
